I find the most rewarding when I do some of the larger procedures, rehabs, and you see the change in the patient’s smile, life-changing. So it’s pretty rewarding in that sense. We’re a smaller office so we provide that individual care, I believe. The fact that we do almost 90% of the procedures in one location so you don’t have to go from here to there, patients really appreciate the convenience factor on that and they’re able to stay under one roof and get all their treatment with one provider.
Practice makes perfect so the more experience you get it’s just, I feel like the patients see that when they come in. Even as a new patient, they’ll see, you know, we’re pretty confident in everything that we’re doing and we have several years to, you know, back that up. I truly believe they’ll walk out of here feeling satisfied and pleased with everything they get done.
Dr. Shahin Dabestani
Both of Dr. Shahin Dabestani’s parents were dentists, so you could say being a dentist is in his blood. He enjoys the physical demands of dentistry and using science and medicine to perform the surgical aspects of patient care.
Dr. Dabestani received his Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona in 2006. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2010. He has been an integral part of our practice since 2012.
Although it’s very satisfying to get people out of pain, Dr. Dabestani especially enjoys the positive changes in confidence he sees and the smiles and hugs he gets from patients after full-mouth rehabilitation and smile design procedures.
Dr. Dabestani’s patients appreciate the personal attention he gives them and the time he takes to develop relationships. He goes above and beyond to make sure they receive the best possible treatment. However, it is his friendly bedside manner and the ability to perform so many types of procedures that truly distinguish him from other dentists.
Outside of work, Dr. Dabestani leads a very active lifestyle. He enjoys lifting weights, doing CrossFit, and participating in a variety of sports like golf, tennis, volleyball, and pickleball. When he’s not exercising, he loves traveling and seeing the world, along with the history behind it. As a self-proclaimed foodie, he also enjoys trying new restaurants.
Spending time with his wife and two children is Dr. Dabestani’s top priority. He loves taking his son and daughter outdoors and helping them stay active.

Front Desk staff are friendly and attentive Dentist is very nice and full of character, the atmosphere is laid back, Very knowledgeable with good advice. The tech that took my xrays was super sweet and gentle made sure i was comfortable the whole way through. Nice to have these kinds of clinics around. The Doctor and his Entire Staff are super efficient, professional, and caring. Me and my Family have been Patient’s at Desert Palm Dentistry way back with Dr. D’S Dad since 2001. I also take notice that since the examing rooms are kinda open, it’s nice to not be shut up in a room, you can see and hear that the Office Staff and entire Medical Team treats ALL the Patient’s with the great care I receive.
Yesterday I was in and out, with no problems. They just had to put my permanent front teeth on and x-rays. They are always so friendly and in a good mood which makes me feel more comfortable about coming to see them.
