Eight years ago, I was terrified of a dentist, and I met Dr. Dabestani, and it changed my entire life. When you walk in the door, you’re welcomed, you’re greeted like family. And then when you’re taken back, it’s the same environment. It’s always like a family unit. And then here comes the doctor. He’s very comfortable. He makes it very personable. So when he comes in, he kind of gets to know your personality, and then goes off the same vibe. So when I say comfortable, I would have to say that everything’s really explained to you. So, nothing he’s gonna do, or even his assistants are gonna do, are not explained prior to the service. Like getting a shot, terrified, they always hurt. He comes in, or his assistant will come in, conversate with you, put that cute little pink medicine in your mouth and jiggle your cheek. And then when they put it in, they’re conversating with you so you don’t even realize what’s happening. So it just makes it a very easy appointment. You always wanna feel like you’re welcomed in, and the ladies up front always do that. And then you have the staff in the back that definitely brings you in, keeps you relaxed, talks you through everything. And then your teeth are so important, and the quality that you get here is impeccable.

Something broke the tooth and, you know, I called them immediately and they got me in. And we got that situated. And then one thing led to another where the tooth next door was, like, going down, too, so… From them scheduling the call to me just walking in and walking through the procedure, I didn’t feel left out. They broke it down from pricing to dates to scheduling to everything. They kind of walked me through the entire process, and they made it very neighborly, very friendly one-on-one.

Well, I start with 100% call. Dr. Dabestani is one of the coolest sentences I’ve made. He keeps it real. The pricing, it’s really good, too. Like, you know, I know that’s a big fear, too, is that it’s just even the job $1,500 for half a tooth. It’s not like that here. It’s just an open feeling. It’s you know what’s happening at all times. They never let you fall through the crowd. They keep you up to date, and they’re there. They’re just your best friend through the whole thing. That’s more than you could ask for from a dentist.

Dr. Dabestani’s practice has taken excellent care of me from the moment I walked through the door. Everybody was very friendly, services were very professional. And what I like about Dr. Dabestani is he’s constantly explaining and educating why they’re doing what they’re doing. I would say that the staff is a lot more friendly from the moment that you walk in the door.

Some places are very…they’re a little bit too sterile, too professional, and this place is very welcoming. I’ve had my kids in here, and it’s a very family-welcoming atmosphere, all the way from the moment you walk in the door. He’s very helpful with regards to explaining and educating why they’re doing what they’re doing and what we should be aware of in terms of as a patient, how to take care of our teeth long term, what the benefits are from routine maintenance and practice.

I had to have a crown done and one of the issues we dealt with was whether or not to do a root canal or not. And very clearly explained to me, we can get away with a crown for the next couple of years versus a root canal, what the long-term effects of that are on my health. But with regards to my kids, making it fun, explaining to them the benefits of brushing and flossing.

Hopefully, we can build those habits so that they don’t have to go through some of the things that maybe I went through with cavities and crowns. Everything has been very timely. I’ve never had to wait very long in the waiting room to get in and see the doctor. And the staff has always been very professional, “Hey, here’s why we’re doing what we’re doing.”

I think I’ve never had to sit in the chair very long in terms of waiting for somebody to take care of me. They’re always trying to get you on the right path versus trying to give you a hard time for not taking care of your teeth in the past.

Most people are afraid of the dentist, but we’ve been coming here since 2001, never been afraid. These people are professional, but they also take an interest in your personal life. So you do sort of feel like your family when you come here. They are very interested in preserving your real teeth, which is very important to us. And they are very good about explaining why certain things need to be done. So we always feel very confident with them. He just makes you feel like whatever he says is true. And they always try to be very professional, but also very kind and thoughtful.

I’m very interested in keeping as many of my teeth as I can. And they’ve helped me do that. And I follow whatever they tell me to do. And I’ve been very lucky. I haven’t had to have any teeth except one pulled. So I’m hoping that when I pass on, I have all my teeth. I always recommend them as being professional and caring and very gentle. Because like I said, a lot of people fear the dentist. And I’ve never had that feeling. And we’ve done this with all of our children. So they also take good care of their teeth. And we hope they come here. Dental health is so important. And when you can find such good quality in dental health, don’t pass that out.

It is so comfortable to come into this Desert Palm Dentistry. Each and every experience has been terrific. Even when I came in with a pain level of 10, I’ve always left with a pain level of minus 10 and a smile. The staff kind of rotates checking on you. “Is everything okay? Can we get you something? Need a movie, need this, that?” And it is just an inviting atmosphere. Quality of care is so above the average and reasons for that is because I know that Dr. D and of course his medical assistants and staff are all staying up with the latest in procedures and knowledge of procedures because of technology, the x-ray and the advancements in the technology and this practice has kept up with that. All of the tools of the trade that are available, I feel that Dr. D and his staff do make that happen here at the office for over 20 years. For me, it is more than just me. It was my wife and it was my three children and my kids were never stressed out coming here and I always noticed that. I’d say, “Oh, we’re gonna go see Dr. D. today.” And, “Oh, okay.” They were totally comfortable. So especially if you have kids, get over here, listen to what they say and then think it over and you can’t go wrong here. You’ll be very happy.

When I first came in, they were very, very friendly walking in. And they attended to me very quickly. After that, the treatment was good. Everybody was here that needed to be here. Dr. Dabestani provides an exceptional level of care, as far as I’m concerned. I have no problems getting answers to questions. He’s very knowledgeable. And he lets you know upfront what’s going on. As far as I’m concerned, being able to make qualified and intelligent decisions relies on having information. I didn’t have any problem getting the information I needed to have the treatment that I needed. They treat you as if you are the most important person at that moment. And they provide an excellent level of service.

So I went to a dentist somewhere else and I was convinced to do some work that was unnecessary. And when I came in to see Dr. Dabestani the first time, I was unaware that the majority of the work that was in my mouth had not been done completely and I had a lot more going on than I expected. So when he went in and came back with some of the news that freaked you out, you start learning the process and the procedure that they’re going to go through and that was even more frightening. Because at the time I had a bridge and when he took the bridge off there was more than we expected which ended up getting a root canal and then in time things happened and I ended up having to get a partial. Instead of saying, “We’re going to go in and take these out,” “We’re going to rip this apart,” or “We’re going to replace it with implants at thousands of dollars,” it was “What can we afford and what can we do first to make it right?” And so it was step by step. But every step I went through it was…even the ladies up front, very comforting when I’d come in because they knew my fears, they understood that I wasn’t prepared for any of this. He’ll even kind of hold your hand if he has to just to let you know it’s going to be okay and it will be a process but we’ll get through it together and we’ll get it done quickly. Walking in, just be honest and let him know you’re scared to death and then he’s already prepared on how to handle you and he’ll take his time to get to know you. The girls up front as well as the ladies up front will take the time to kind of get to know your personality, what will work and I would just say ask questions and be ready to get the most knowledge through your procedure because it’s what they do and it’s their profession and they’re amazing.

So I’ve had two separate situations where I had an emergency crown done, where I had an old filling fall out. And that’s one of the benefits of having this crown-in-an-hour system that Dr. Dabestani has. It’s amazing to be able to come in here in pain and leave with a brand new tooth. And we’ve also had some scheduled ones where I had some old fillings that were deteriorating.

Again, set that up, arrived, got everything scanned in, and got the crown put on in an hour. It was really outstanding. The process itself is very straightforward. I had never had a crown before. That part was really surprising to me. The process, while I waited for the crown to be made, got to watch one of my favorite movies. The staff was great about that. “Hey, can we get you anything else? It’s only gonna be about 15 more minutes.”

So again, a really good experience from the moment I walked in, all the way until I walked out with the new crown. The front desk staff was amazing. They’ve always been super sympathetic and helpful. They understand the situation when your mouth is sore that the whole day can go sideways.

Issue, I would say, was again my procrastination of taking care of it, “Well, how much is that going to be? Oh, and well, can we…” And then Dr. D said, “Well, for now, I can do this.” He always worked with me. So that made me even more comfortable. Like, I know I got to get this done. And I had a lot of root canals and implants and just got my new bridge. And I’m all happy now. It’s all done.

Well, the steps were explaining how did I get to this point with my teeth. And first off was fractures. And I took some very good teeth and damaged them and didn’t realize it. Once we zeroed in on the issue, just there were several teeth that were needing attention. And we just took one at a time. He was very gentle and very easygoing, whether it was a canal or an extraction, we did one step at a time. Don’t procrastinate.

And it’s a joy to have teeth complete in your mouth. And not only for my personal self-confidence and the way I look but also because of my business. If you have a full smile and you’re confident, it’s going to reflect in your personality. And you’re going to be more successful in your personal life and your business life. Get your teeth in order.
